Intent and Context Aware services
Privacy Policy
Context Aware Pty Ltd provides digital services and the invite-only Intent client workspace. This policy explains the information involved, why we need it and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name and email address; workspace content including messages, files, images, annotations and project activity that you choose to share; and call booking details such as selected times and meeting status.
We also process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including push notification tokens, authentication records and basic error information. Where a paid Context Aware service is connected to your workspace, we may record billing and subscription status. We do not store full payment card details.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Intent, deliver agreed client work, respond to support requests, send service notifications you enable, arrange meetings, maintain reliable records and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Device access
Intent asks for photo access only when you choose an image to share or annotate. Notification permission is optional. Face ID, Touch ID and Android biometrics are processed by your device. Intent receives only the result of the authentication check, not your biometric data. The app does not request camera, microphone or location permission.
Service providers and disclosure
We use carefully selected providers to operate our services. These may include Supabase for authentication, databases and file storage, Expo for app delivery and push notifications, Zoom for booked meetings, and Stripe for billing. We disclose information only as needed to provide the service, when you direct us to, or where required by law. We require service providers to protect information consistently with their role and applicable privacy obligations.
Storage, security and retention
We use access controls, encryption in transit, managed infrastructure and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. Intent may keep a local device cache to make recent conversations responsive and available during brief network interruptions. Device access can be protected with supported biometrics.
We retain information while it is needed to deliver the service, maintain business records and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when it is no longer required.
Your choices and rights
You can disable notifications in device settings and turn biometric app protection on or off in Intent. You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or close your Intent access, by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or an active client agreement.
You may also withdraw an optional permission, object to a use of your information or ask how a decision about your request was reached. We will verify requests where necessary and respond within a reasonable period.
Questions and complaints
If you have a privacy concern, email us with enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge the concern, review what happened and explain our response. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
