Trades and field services
Websites for trades. Make the next enquiry easier.
Your website should help a customer decide whether you are the right person for the job. Context Aware designs and builds trade websites that explain your services, show your work and make it straightforward to call or request a quote, whether you are a sole trader or a growing team.
Discuss your projectAnswer the questions that come before a call.
A customer may be comparing businesses on their phone while planning a renovation or trying to solve a problem. They need clear service information, an indication of the work you take on and confidence that you cover their area.
We organise the website around those decisions. For planned work, that might mean project photos, a process explanation and a quote request. If your business offers urgent callouts, availability and a clear phone action need particular attention.
- Service pages written around actual jobs and customer questions
- Project galleries using your own approved photos
- Visible contact details and clear service coverage
- Mobile-friendly layouts and a straightforward enquiry journey
Show the work behind the business.
Before-and-after photos, a description of the problem and a short explanation of the work completed can make a project page useful. They help a prospective customer understand the kinds of jobs you handle without relying on generic claims.
We can structure the site so you can add projects over time. Relevant licence details, qualifications and genuine testimonials should be easy to find and kept accurate. We agree which materials you will supply and which content needs to be prepared as part of the project.
Collect enough detail to take the next step.
A quote form can ask for the service, job location and a short description. If photos or a booking connection would help your team assess the job, we can include those requirements in the scope. The form should remain easy to complete on a phone.
We also plan where enquiries go, who receives them and what the customer sees after submitting. Connections to an existing scheduling or job-management system need to be checked and agreed before they become part of the build.
Launch with search and ownership in mind.
The build can include descriptive page titles, clear headings, crawlable links and a sitemap. For a replacement website, we review important existing pages and plan redirects where addresses change. Ongoing SEO is a separate scope of work that can build on these foundations.
Before launch, we review the agreed enquiry journeys across screen sizes and clarify domain, hosting and content responsibilities. Cost and timing depend on page types, content readiness and integrations. You will have a defined scope before work begins.
Before we begin
Your questions, answered.
Can you replace my current website without changing my domain?
Usually, yes. We will need to review the domain, hosting and any connected email or other services. A launch plan should account for those connections and preserve important page addresses or redirect them appropriately.
Can you use photos of my completed jobs?
Yes. Original project photos are useful when you have permission to publish them. Avoid exposing customer addresses or other private details, and supply a short explanation of the work so the images have context.
Do you build websites for sole traders as well as larger teams?
Yes. The scope can range from a focused service website to a larger site with multiple service areas, project content and agreed integrations. We start with what customers and your team actually need.
Is search engine optimisation included?
Search foundations can be part of the build. Ongoing SEO, content development and reporting should be agreed separately, with clear deliverables. Our SEO for Trades service explains the next stage.
Can I start without a complete written brief?
Yes. Send your current website if you have one, the work you do, where you operate and the outcome you want. We can use that to discuss page structure, content and a suitable first release.
